Hey Jim Casada,
You are among a very few people whose moves I track because of very good performance over many years.

Would you mind sharing your strategy #— that is assuming you use TSP Calc strategy as a guide?

Thanks!

Apparently, the ETF business has been booming. Since most all ETF's charge fees, it makes me think about who's making all this money in running ETF's? Is it possible to invest directly into companies like Direxion or Proshares?
Great point! You can invest in MSCI, S&P and a few others. Side note, many of them have been excellent investments over the past few years. I don't think that'll go away.

Thank you, but I really don't follow any set strategy. I mainly just follow various business news & articles that I watch or read every day. I very much do pay attention to what everyone else is doing here on this website, so in effect I'm following everyone else's strategies. Generally speaking, I probably spend most of my time in G-fund, and get back in one of the equity funds only when I feel it's due for a bounce up. It don't always work out, but done pretty well the last 3 years since retiring and have more time to pay attention to all my investments (I consider this to be my main "retirement job"). I love reading these forum posts too. I just wish that it was as active as it used to be years ago. Again, thanks.

Agreed - I really miss how active the forum used to be.

Unfortunately, I may have had a hand in causing the forum to be quieter. I was one of those who strongly pushed for reducing / eliminating / prohibiting the political arguments that often sprang up. I felt that it detracted heavily from the core function of the site - oftentimes there were more active political threads than there were TSP ones. One of the unintended consequences is that prohibition caused a lot less traffic, and thus less discussion on all things TSP and retirement related.

Aitrus, I also think that a lot folks are going over to all these TSP related Facebook and other social media sites. They're ok, but I don't know of any of them doing Fantasy like stuff. Besides, I feel more secure here in talking about more personal info stuff. Too many scammers & crazy folks on social media.

I second that point. I think many have gone to the Facebook page. I've seen posts there about TSPCalc and other things that normally were here.

That's ok! This gives us "older" guys the chance to share ideas more often, which I try to do from time to time.
