I did not make the trade. Bottom line, the odds for up did not beat the odds for down in my view. I think we'll see panic selling, then amateurs will buy the dip, then further down, then the 'smart' money will move in. Seasonal strategies are great with relative market stability. Tariff talk does not bring stability. This week is going to be crazy, but may line up an incredible opportunity.

I was actually trying to set up to buy a slight dip. You think we are entering a deeper correction?

I bought this morning. Both TSP S and C and my other trading accounts individual stocks. But very conservative positions. There is a lot of pressure on securities right now and not just the Greenland/Europe tariff issue, while that is a big one. You have the Iran issue, we seem to be positioning for something. The court decision on tariffs, inflation still an issue, interest rates, bla bla. I feel odds of deeper correction are better than a raging bull market right now. That said, I get my toes back into S and C, order placed today. And not recommendation, but also added to positions in: NVDA, ASML, Micron, PLTR and SNDK. Remember, you can't make Nvidia chips without the equipment ASML makes.

I think we will get a deeper correction at some point before May, but I sat on the sideline last year and missed out of some great returns. Be nice to have more than two IFT's. The 1st thing I will do when I retire next year is leave the TSP.
