Congratulations to spookster61 & Ronin21788 for placing 1st & 2nd in our final 2025 year's top leader Fantasy board. And, also to the 40 something others that seem to be tied for 3rd place (mostly by sticking with I-fund for the entire year).

I think the I Fund is just at the beginning of its outperformance. We'll see though, I've said it last year and the year before. I was too early the year before, but (perhaps) for the next 10 years the I Fund will finally do something better.

I think that the weakening dollar had much to do with the I-fund's performance last year. Overall, the dollar lost over 9% of its value in 2025 compared to developed nation average. Compared to just the Euro, the loss was closer to 13%. The way I see it, if your TSP didn't gain at least 9% last year, your TSP went down in real value. Whether this continues into 2026 waits to be seen, but so far this month, it looks like yes.
