VGR is ok for around 5% dividend, but this is not for me to risk since no additional profit for me to sell CALL OPTION since it trade for only $.10 - $.15 "in the money."
Something like MAT since I don't mind with "Barbie" (2nd qtr 23% sales soared). For retirement account I'm looking for stock with dividend + collect on call option at least 5% or more per quarter and the most important it is good for long term if I decide to hang on if it is on the move.

If you look at the 1 year chart of vgr the share price drops off a couple months before the dividend. That's when I buy it, and sell it the morning before the day of ex-dividend. I do not collect the dividend because the capital gain exceeds the dollar amount of the dividend. And if you are trading it in a taxable brokerage account, capital gains tax is less than the tax on dividends. Check out the 1 year chart.
